We hope you are keeping safe and well.
COVID-19 has had a profound impact on everyone. There are significant changes to everyone’s personal and working life as well as to the entire economy.
The UK government has published a four-step roadmap to ease lockdown restrictions in England. In response to that latest Government Guidance COVID-19 Response − Spring 2021, we are delighted to announce we will be scheduling Nav Guy outdoor navigation sessions and courses from April onwards. Please refer to our Events Calendar for details.
Individuals, charities and corporates are considering what emerging from confinement will look like and planning fantastic micro adventures for later in the year. These are more intimate and bespoke events to raise funds for charities or to enable corporate teams to reconnect with each other and with nature. All in the stunning Lake District, a landscape made for adventure!
The starting point for Adventure Trails for all outdoor activity will be the latest updates to Government Guidance and from The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) which is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers.
Adventure Trails will continue to take necessary precautions as restrictions ease. When participating in a micro event, course or outdoor session with us, you must adhere to our Covid-19 Secure Code of Practice.

Our successful online navigation skills masterclasses continue!
We know things continue to be tough for a little longer. In these locked down times, getting out is more important than ever whether that is a gentle walk, a run on city trails, trail running or a more strenuous hike. Physical activity is known to help with improving mental health through better sleep, happier moods, and managing stress, anxiety or intrusive and ‘racing’ thoughts.
The Nav Guy offers you online learning opportunities to help you plan your next adventures in nature. These are live Zoom masterclasses for hikers, trail/ultra runners and mountain runners at all levels to learn and improve your navigation skills using a map and a compass . We have been getting fantastic Five Star Reviews. Read here for more details.
Adventure Trails has been awarded the “We’re Good To Go” official UK mark to show it follows Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
We know that after this unprecedented time we all miss nature and outdoor activities more than ever. We cannot wait to be able to provide you with just that – a moment of joy; be it a sunrise hike up Helvellyn; a lower level NetWalk to reconnect with colleagues, partners and business contacts; a cycle ride through the Yorkshire Dales or simply getting back into the outdoors.
Your Adventure. Our Expertise.
