The Government’s roadmap for the easing of lockdown restrictions is made up of four steps, with Step 4 – which began on 19 July – now in force.

The starting point for Adventure Trails for all outdoor activity are the latest updates to Government Guidance and from The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) which is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers.

There are now no set restrictions on how many people can take part in sport and physical activity, indoors and outdoors. All forms of activities can take place without set restrictions subject to relevant national governing body’s guidance.

Organised sport participation events such as organised walks can take place outdoors with no capacity caps for participants or spectators.

There are no legal travel limits on organised sport and physical activity.

Organised outdoor sport and activity includes all of our outdoor group activities which is run by qualified instructors.

Adventure Trails will continue to take maintain necessary precautions.

Please refer to our Events Calendar for details.

Charities and corporates are planning fantastic micro adventures with us. These are more intimate and bespoke events to raise funds for charities or to enable corporate teams to reconnect with each other and with nature. All in the stunning Peak or Lake District, landscapes made for adventure!

Adventure Trails will act responsibly and keep group sizes to a minimum wherever possible, as well as minimising travel. When participating in a micro event, course or outdoor session with us, you must adhere to our Covid-19 Secure Code of Practice.
