The 5 & 10 Peak Challenge, Coledale, The Lake District.
Take on a 5 or 10 Peak Challenge in The Lake District to raise funds for The British Red Cross on Saturday 10th July 2021. This event will be based around the fabulous Coledale Horseshoe, a gem of a trek in the northern fells of The Lakes. The start and finish point is Braithwaite near Keswick.
The 5 Peak Challenge is still a toughie, but the even more adventurous could go for the 10 Peak Challenge! Both groups would start at the same time, taking in the same first two peaks. The 10 Peakers would then diverge to take in additional outlying peaks. As the 5 Peakers progressed around their route, the 10 Peakers would slowly catch up with both routes having Grisedale Pike as the final peak. Both routes offer some of the finest ridge walking in the Lake District.
